NEW YORK, NY, May 8, 2008 – New York, NY-based RCS Real Estate Advisors, the pre-eminent real estate advisory firm to the retail industry, has been retained by the debtor and appointed by the bankruptcy court to market the leases for The Sharper Image. RCS Real Estate Advisors President and CEO Ivan L. Friedman made the announcement.
The Sharper Image, which recently filed for Chapter 11, has retained RCS Real Estate Advisors to exclusively develop a marketing plan to dispose of 90 leases throughout the United States to ultimately benefit the Chapter 11 estate.
